Consultancy:

As part of my work as a maker, I always seek out good examples of the famous makers, for study purposes. In the course of this I have become one of the foremost experts in fine and rare guitars, with over 4 decades of experience. From time to time I have been lucky enough to acquire some of these, from makers such as Torres ( 4 examples owned) , Garcia, Simplicio, Sanfeliu, Fleta, Hauser 1, Hauser 2, Manuel Ramirez, Santos Hernandez, Panormo. Lacote, Staufer, Sellas, and some more modern makers such as Rubio, Romanillos, Bouchet, Friederich, Hernandes y Aguado and others.
From this considerable contact and knowledge base, I am now frequently consulted by collectors, dealers, other experts, and auction houses as to authenticity , history, value, etc. and can also now extend this consultancy service to private clients as well.
I am happy to advise on guitars that come up at auction, as to authenticity, condition, and even bid on your behalf at auction. I can also take care of the purchase/export process, i.e. obtaining CITES permits, shipping, packing, in fact all the arrangments you might need to conduct a transaction with minimal effort, with totally confidentiality and security.
I can value your guitar, and issue a certificate, for insurance or probate, or just for you own peace of mind.
Please contact me for any further information.

I invite you to take a 'virtual tour' through my website, which is continually under construction and renewal, and I welcome any comments you may have about the site. Not all links and pages are active, but I hope to complete the site soon.
